ABOUT US

We were established in 1945 under the name Overseas Commodities Ltd. and were restructured in 1978 to form OCL Industrial Materials Ltd. in Surrey, BC and Wesmat Supplies Ltd. in Edmonton, Alberta.

We are located in Surrey on 4 acres including a 27,000 sq. ft. office-warehouse facility plus a 6,000 sq. ft. building for manufacturing.

The base of our business over the past fifty years has been Industrial Supply; while the Metal Casting & Surface Preparation industries have been the mainstays for OCL., diversification has always been important; we have built an abrasive processing plant under OCL Manufacturing Ltd; formed a partnership with Hutcheson Sand & Mixes to supply golf courses and play fields with high quality sand mixes; and ventured into the processing and handling of spent industrial materials through a waste management company, Tri Arrow Industrial Recovery Inc.
